Privacy Policy

The short version

Tzedoko is a personal record of your income and charity giving. We store only what you type in: your email address, your income and donation entries, the recipient names and notes you choose to add, and your rate settings. We do not sell your information, we do not show advertisements, and we do not take or process any payments.

What we collect

  • Your email address— so you can sign in and so your records stay tied to your account. If you sign in with Google, Google passes your name and email to us; we do not receive your Google password.
  • The entries you log— amounts, dates, whether each line is income or a donation, and any recipient name or note you add.
  • Your settings— your chosen maaser/choimesh rate, your automatic wage amount and schedule, and your starting balance.
  • Simple usage counts— which pages were opened and when, so the owner can see whether the app is being used. This is not used for advertising.

Why we collect it

Only to make the tracker work: to show you your obligation and balance, to keep your records available when you sign in on a different device, and to keep the app running.

Where your data is kept

Your records are stored on secure servers provided by our hosting and database provider (Supabase), located in the European Union. Access is protected by your sign-in. Only you and the app's owner can see your entries.

Who else sees it

Nobody else. We do not sell, rent or share your information for marketing. We may be required to disclose information if the law requires it, and our hosting provider processes data on our behalf under their own privacy terms.

Children

Tzedoko is not directed at children and is not intended for anyone under 13.

Deleting your data

You can erase your records at any time:
  • This month only or Everything using the “Start fresh” button at the bottom of your tracker.
  • Use the account deletion request page to ask for your whole account to be deleted, or email joel@samgroup.co.uk. Your email address, entries and settings will be permanently removed.
Records you saved in your browser before creating an account stay on your own device until you clear your browser data.
